Emmett Holman Sr., 72
Emmett C. Holman Sr., age 72, of Hagerstown, MD died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Meritus Medical Center.
Born May 30, 1946 in Hagerstown, Md., he is the son of the late Emmett and Mary Ella Holman.
Mr. Holman was a member of the Ebenezer AME Church, Hagerstown, where he served as a honorary trustee. He was a member of the Pride of Hagerstown Lodge # 278. Mr. Holman was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Hagerstown, MD.
Survived by his wife Christine E. Holman, two sons Marcus Holman and Emmett Holman, Jr. all of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by a son Patrick Holman.
He is also survived by brothers James ( Pamela) Holman, Bradyville, Iowa. Tommy Holman of Orlando, FL. David (Sheridan) Holman and Jackie Holman both of Hagerstown. Larry (Sherry) Holman of Albany, GA, Garry Holman, Ronald Holman and Avorice “Gino” Holman, of Hagerstown, MD.
Also two sisters Vickie Holman of Hagerstown, and Mary Ann Simms of Albany GA. He was preceded in death by a brother Levi Holman, Sr. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friend will be received on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac Street,Hagerstown, MD. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11:00am at the Ebenezer AME Church, 26 Bethel Street, Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
