Print
Lowell Kevin Hall, 60 years old, of Hagerstown, Md, went home to God on September 2, 2018, after an extended illness.

He was born in Shelby, Ohio on September 17, 1957. He was the son of the late Davis G Hall, Sr. and Dessie N (Stevens) Hall. He was also preceded in death by his brother in law, Jack C Sullivan. He is survived by his beloved wife Christine A. Hall.

He is survived by 3 brothers; Dennis Lee Hall, location unknown, JC Hall (Lucy Perry) of Shelby, OH, and Davis G (Denise) Hall Jr. of Hagerstown, MD. He is survived by 2 sisters, Patsy N (Bill) Hicks, of Ruskin, FL and Betty Jo Sullivan, of Hedgesville, WV. He is survived by 5 step sons, Raymond Fletcher, of Rose Hill VA; Richard (Nikki) Fletcher, of Edison NJ, Robert Fletcher of Bowling Green VA, Bruce (Zoe) Johann of Hedgesville WV and Rich (Shelia) Grimm of Hagerstown MD. He has numerous grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Christine will receive family and friends at a Memorial Service at the Lighthouse Baptist Church on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Located at: 15225 Falling Waters Road, Williamsport, MD 21795, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. There will be a small service to remember Lowell and the many lives he touched at 11:00 am, held by Pastor Mark Chapman.

Lowell Hall served in the Army from 1975 to 1977. He was stationed in Baumholder, Germany and was a "tank retrieval specialist." He sure loved his "big toys"!

He was proud to spend his career as a Maryland State Correctional Officer, where he made many lifelong friends. He retired in 2002 to spend the next nine years in other security work.

He was also very proud to serve as a firefighter with the Fairplay Fire Company for 10 years and then with WVAS, Comapny 29, Williamsport Volunteer Ambulance Company (as he always put it) "just a driver", for six more years. He was, of course, way more than that. That's where he met Christine and it was "love at first sight" for both of them.

He thoroughly enjoyed watching his step-children and grandchildren grow up and he treasured each one and they loved him just as dearly. Many, many tears have been shed at this beloved man's death.

Go rest high on that mountain,
Son your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shouting,
Before the Father and the Son.
