Obituary for Vincent Cornell Thomas
Vincent Cornell Thomas, 62, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Monday May 1, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center. Born September 21, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Napoleon and Ivern J. Ashby. He attended North Hagerstown High School and was employed by Good Will Inc. He previously retired from Mack Truck Inc. He attended Second Christian Church in Hagerstown, MD.
He is survived by five sisters: Barbara Crew, Janet Ashby, Deborah Ashby (Thomas Onley), Lisa Thomas (Michael Wade) all of Hagerstown, MD, Shirley Thomas of Augusta GA, three brothers: Ronald Ashby (Sherry), Donnis Ashby (Barbara) Hagerstown, MD, Layton Ashby (Wilamary) of Glen Burnie, MD., sister in laws JoAnn Ashby and Dixie Ashby and Linda Walts, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth Ashby and Dennis Ashby
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD Friday May 5, 2017 for the viewing from 11:00 am to 12 pm. Service will follow immediately with Rev. Joe Fowlkes officiating. A private burial will be at a later date for family.
